Since the beginning, Tape’s creators named the club ‘a central hub of creativity and celebration’ and it definitely has been. Tape London, located in the centre of Mayfair in the famous Hanover Square, is not only a nightclub, it also acts as a live music venue and even has it’s own recording studio.
Every week (especially on Tuesdays in “The Get Down” party) Tape London presents a different artist. We have seen great performances by Big Sean, Pusha-T, Rae Sremmurd & The Jillionaire, to mention a few. All epic nights that will be remembered!
This time we celebrated the return of the one and only, Puff Daddy! Puff Daddy has been missed on the scene and we are glad that he is now back! This past 20th January we had the privilege to see him perform at the exclusive Tape Club in London and it was A M A Z I N G!
Sean John Combs, better known as Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, and Diddy, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, record producer, and entrepreneur. Sean Combs has produced big-name artists like Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige and Biggie Smalls, created the Sean John clothing line and recorded his own platinum albums.
What took Combs to the top, was a tribute he made to his good friend Biggie Smalls who was murdered in 1997, “I’ll be Missing You”. It topped the Billboard single charts for eleven weeks and launched Diddy’s first album, “No Way Out” to platinum status with more than 3.4 million copies sold in the United States. After that, he introduced legends, brought us classics and delivered unforgettable rants! There is no doubt that this man has conquered the game with charisma, passion, and hustle.
Puff Daddy & Mase's inaugural appearance at Tape London will go down in history!
